Saddleworth Olympics 2022

Following our Saddleworth Olympics presentation at your school, we would love you to sign up and join in the Saddleworth Olympics and be part of Team SASL.

The Saddleworth Olympics is now officially open for registration for all children (in Year 3 as of September 2022)  and it's all so easy with online registration. Given the current cost of living challenges many are facing we are approaching things a bit differently this year. Instead of charging a set price, registration is FREE and we are asking people to make a donation. We are hoping the generosity of spirit in our lovely villages will shine through and those who can afford more will do so, which will allow those who may not have entered their kids because of cost to not have to miss out. So please dig deep if you can afford it but most importantly let's get as many kids registered to take part as possible.

Please register at and check out our SASL village page.  Don’t forget, if you can, buy a T-Shirt as these are worn for training sessions as well as the Olympics themselves. They are available online or at Lees Library from Jen Monday to Thursday 4-7pm.

We have attached the Saddleworth Olympics Schedule for September so you can see when the events are happening and also a Training Schedule which is up and running.

For up-to-date information please like us on Facebook - SASL Olympics Team Page 2022

Please email with any queries or message us on the FB page.

Looking forward to seeing you
